British Pensions - Pension Scheme

All of our fees related to your pension scheme and transfers of British pensions are fully disclosed, and we do not charge anything upfront.

Our standard fees for transferring British pensions amount to 2.5% of the sum transferred plus $350 for each additional UK pension fund. Our minimum fee is $2,500 plus GST.

On receipt of transfer values from our customer’s British pensions, we advise our fee.  We also supply customers with information to help plan their pension scheme, allowing them to decide whether or not the transfer of their British pensions is the ideal choice. If you decide to proceed with the transfer, our fee will be charged once the transfer has been completed.  If you decide not to proceed, we will not charge you.

If you use the services of a financial planner our fee can generally be deducted from your superannuation fund.  If you choose not to use a financial planner you must pay our fees personally. Many pension scheme providers talk of free or reduced fee transfers of British pensions. However, they often receive considerable commissions from superannuation funds, resulting in a bias towards a fund that may not be in your best interests! They may also use terms such as an 'entry fee' to obtain a fee.  Before deciding whether or not to proceed with the transfer of your British pensions, you should always check the level of one off and annual fees which will be charged to your superannuation fund.  In reality there is no such thing as a 'free transfer'.
